A specialist Aerospace Engineering business are urgently seeking a Project Manager to join their specialist team working on the successful delivery of a number of high value engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support bid and tendering processes for projects ensuring all risks and opportunities are assessed and mitigated effectively.
- Assist in the development and delivery of a Win Strategy.
- Develop commercially viable project definitions for assigned project(s).
- Set clear objectives for project implementation
Communicate and agree resource allocation with functional managers.
- Be the key Point of Contact for the assigned project(s) with the Customer
- Monitor and control assigned project(s):
ensure effective internal communications with all interested parties, regularly review and report on progress, resolve issues as required, chair project reviews as required, liaise with functional groups involved in project delivery, escalate any issue that requires further support to ensure project achievement.
- Meet and beat the targeted commercial return for the project(s).
- Support the development of people, processes and methods within the business to ensure Best - Practice and maximum ROI.

Skills and capabilities required:

- Strong Engineering background ideally gained within the Aerospace industry
- Ideally qualified to first degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or Project Management
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Good all round communication skills
- Self motivated and highly driven individual
- Strong team worker with the ability to lead and influence a multi-disciplined technical team.

This role will suit an excellent man manager with a background of successfully delivering on a range of high value Aerospace projects.
