My client is a globally recognized blue chip technology developer. We are looking for an engineering manager who has a solid technical background as well as excellent leadership abilities. We need a leader to take responsibility for the development and release process. You must have a background of build systems ownership, build operations, workflow tracking and change control systems. You must be able to maintain security fixes and keep the information flowing within the technical development teams. We would like to see a relevant engineering or computer science degree or equivalent commercial experience. Further, we would expect to see some knowledge of C, Perl/Python and web development technologies. This position calls for a blend of integrity, leadership, technical ability, numeracy and reasoning skills to build the respect of your team, and your peers. This is an opportunity to join a team that is growing and developing a novel range of technologies that will be rolled out globally. You will be pulling together all the strings to enable this to happen. Cambridge based, this position offers a salary up to £ 60 k.
