Contract RF test engineer required for rolling 6 month contract with major mobile communications technologist. We need an engineer who is able to take a key position within the team, to establish the test strategy, define RF equipment testing methods and execute test strategy and results capture. You will be working with development team members to help characterise and refine designs, prior to starting formal system testing. Other responsibilities include, installation, performance testing and analysis of external radiating field trials. You will be responding to enquiries for technical information, expertise and assistance with test methods from customer facing groups (PLM, Trials and support teams for example). The role may require occasional participation in customer trials, conformance testing at external test facilities and execution of non-RF test areas as required. Based in the South West, this is an immediate opportunity and we would like to hear from applicants who are able to be in the UK for interview and quick start. Rates negotiable dependant on skills level.
