Our Client is currently seeking to fill the role of Internal Sales Support (French speaking) based in the Glasgow area. The ideal candidate will be a Native French speaker or fluent in Business French and ideally hold a Degree in a Life Science discipline.
The role will involve customer liaison in progressing sales opportunities through following up potential client enquiries to achieve sales targets in conjunction with Field Sales Representatives, which may also involve travel to customer sites as required.
Key attributes of the successful candidate will include:
Proficient communication and influencing skills
Fluency in spoken and written Business French
Confidence to make outbound calls to a range of decision makers in a variety of organizations
An ability to self manage and self motivate with good commercial acumen
Confidence in using computer packages (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Database packages)
College Certificate or University Degree level qualification in Life Science/Biology discipline or related industry experience
Some experience working in a customer facing, sales environment would be a distinct advantage
The successful candidate will thrive in a results orientated environment, and be driven, competitive with the adaptability and flexibility to keep a pace in dynamic circumstances. You should also have a full understanding of the features, benefits and applications of our Clients scientific products and work within an assigned geographical area or account. The position plays a key role in the sales process with the ultimate aim of achieving or exceeding the assigned territorys sales plan.
