Im actively looking for a Functional Validation Engineer for a 3-6 month contract based in Hampshire. Youll need a good background in a similar type of role with Avionic knowledge. Part of the role will be to integrate / calibrate avionics equipment, tests engineering, writing/checking up procedures, produce the test procedures. Along with the above youll also need knowledge of RT hardware / Software integration involving computer and buses ie 1553B or SpaceWire. Real time simulators and modelling are also used in closed loop testing. Any further knowledge of satellite systems, and related actuators, sensors or functions such as AOCS, DHS, Power RDIR, or thermal systems, would be desirable.
