We are looking for a contract C++ software engineer with development skills at Layer 3 of the protocol stack. We would ideally like to see some exposure to 3G (UTRAN), lower layer protocol RRC, RLC, MAC. You will be parachuting in to a next generation development project and as such must have the C++ technical abilities to get up and running rapidly. We would expect you to have used your C++ extensively within a real time, embedded environment and have UML and OOD development skills. You will be joining a technology developer that is currently at least 2 years ahead of industry standards within the mobile space ! The contract is on a 6 month rolling basis, rates Ca £ 40 p/hr dependant on skills level. Based South of London. URGENT.
