They are currently seeking a Proposals Manager to be based at their Head office in Dubai, UAE.

This is a superb opportunity for an accomplished aviation and logistics business proposals professional to be part of our clients business development activity.

As a key member of our clients sales and marketing team and reporting into the Sales and Marketing Manager this challenging and exciting role offers full responsibility for the creation of high value aviation business proposals for strategic sales and business development relating to aviation, and logistics opportunities in Iraq, Afghanistan and African markets.

The role incorporates full proposals responsibility primarily in the Middle East and Africa region and the wider international aviation industry.

You will be responsible for facilitating and preparing all assigned proposals/bids from receipt of the Request for Proposal/Invitation for Bid (RFP/IFB) to timely delivery of the proposal/bid to the customer and until the customer has made an award decision (contract) to include any post-award kickoff conference.

Key tasks will include acting as the single point of contact (POC) with the customer regarding assigned RFP/IFB.

You will need to be an accomplished business proposal Writer and / or aviation and logistics business development professional with substantive experience of sales and business development support through effective proposal writing within the international aviation and / or logistics sector.

To be successful in this role, you require previous experience in Bids and Proposals Administration with major defence contractors / United Nations and / or experience with complex / high dollar value international contracts including US government compliance.

You will have excellent business analytical skills and have the ability to understand the technical and operational aspects of air logistics and security operations.

You must be able to multi-task routine and complex contract activities with the ability to overview situations, review and evaluate, defining set plans to achieve contract goals.



Supported by excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills you will able to display solid strategic thinking, data manipulation and financial analytical skills.

You should be loyal to the organization during a period of growth and change – this is intended to be a very long-term relationship.

You should have the ability to integrate oneself seamlessly into our clients existing company management structure and rapidly become an effective member of our clients senior team.

You should possess excellent communication skills in English and have a strong attention to detail and be able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines.

Superb inter-personal skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.

You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities and be able to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment.

Finally you should possess a Drivers Licence and be PC / IT literate.

The basic salary is paid in US Dollars and is tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee. In addition there is an annual bonus which is also paid in US Dollars and tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee.

In addition the job holder will receive either free housing or a monthly housing allowance, company car, medical insurance, a laptop and mobile phone. The holiday entitlement is 30 days.

Ex-Patriate employees will also receive 1 paid return economy flight per year and Mobilization and De-Mobilization flights are also paid for by our client.
