Procurement Specialist role with one of the largest multinational technology companies that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and services.

The Manufacturing and Supply Chain (MSC) operations team is part of the overseeing of an expanded devices business that includes smartphones and tablets, mobile phones, console hardware, laptops, Perceptive Pixel products and accessories. The MSC operations team supports the manufacturing, supply, order fulfilment and returns for multiple sales channels within this company. The successful candidate will work in the Direct Channel team (a team of 6 individuals based in Dublin) supporting the supply chain for the Online Store. The Online Store sells both digital and physical products direct to consumers across 27 countries in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Role to include areas of:

* Product Launch and Replenishment
* Inventory and Order Queries
* Order Management
* Product Category Reporting

Product Launch and Replenishment:ensure that all products are launched on time with the required level of inventory to support initial and replenishment order volumes. Complete the necessary SAP transactions associated with launching new products

o Support new product launch activity ensuring end to end management of inventory supply, pre-orders and product returns for specific product categories
o Ensure sufficient day one (launch day) inventory is in place to support the product launch pre-orders as well as supply for replenishment orders
o Ensure product assortment is agreed and communicated via AX application to operations team for launch SKU’s. Review pre-orders and ensure they are aligned to supply
o Replenishment: execute daily replenishment in SAP to maintain 99.5% In Stock Percentage; triage supply shortages with suppliers, distribution and planning. Current product assortment of 1k+ SKU’s
Inventory and Order Queries: Using SAP provide quick and accurate customer query resolution and / or routing to the appropriate team within operations
o Address queries to suppliers for product supply as well as address queries from customers and internal stakeholders relating to product launches. Customer queries are routed to the supply chain team from the call centres. There is no direct contact with end consumers
o Provide timely feedback on queries relating to product supply and customer queries specifically ‘where is my order?’
Order Management: achieve the order-to-delivery targets by clearing the SAP order book daily, following up with supply chain partners to ensure fulfilment within agreed service levels
o For the specific product categories you manage ensure SAP orders are flowing as expected and being fulfilled per the SLA’s agreed with stakeholders
o Engage with internal stakeholders e.g. distribution or logistics teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled and delivered in line with customer expectations
o Follow up with suppliers and supply chain stakeholders to ensure the correct balance of inventory, orders and returns for the product category
Product Category Reporting: provide daily and weekly management views of inbounds, inventory and outbound orders
o Generate as necessary the daily and weekly reports for the product categories you manage based on the product lifecycle
o Share and escalate any issues relating to the product in the supply chain and ensure management teams are fully aware of product category issues

2 years in Procurement (or similar role)


Experience in SAP (2 years)


Relevant customer support (1+ years)

* Excellent SAP skills specifically relating to operations and supply chain
* High level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other Office applications
* 2 + years’ experience in supply chain and B2C (Business to Consumer) operations
* Specific knowledge of the operations business is an advantage
* Proven attention to detail with strong numeracy skills and a solid grasp of business concepts
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent English language skills, additional languages not a requirement
* Able to work in a pressured environment to tight deadlines when required
* Ability to analyse, interpret and address customer and stakeholder queries
* Business degree or equivalent preferred
