Job Purpose:
Our Client is currently seeking candidates to fulfil and exceed the company’s service delivery requirements in the capacity of an IT Procurement Co-ordinator. 

Key duties & responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing and liaising with third party vendors globally to provide IT & AV equipment.
  2. Accurately preparing quotations for customers based on the specification, cost and currency.
  3. Responsible for managing timescales of delivery/ delays and reporting such to management.
  4. Account management responsibility providing a high level of customer service to our clients, some of which are leading global IT organisations.
  5. Proactively planning, organising and overcoming any issues with supply.
  6. Able to understand and explain the use and application of the equipment and parts being sourced.
  7. Undertake training as required or as identified by management for the proper execution or development within your role/company.
  8. Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably required by the company and within the competency of the post-holder.

Job Requirements:

Essential Criteria:
  • 1-2 years relevant commercial experience
  • Good technical IT knowledge
  • Customer service and Account /Project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and negotiating skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload, meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure
  • Be a motivated, self-starter and can demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in their work.
  • Responsible and reliable, capable of working individually as well as part of a team
  • Must have critical thinking and problem solving ability, with good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change to meet the needs of the customer
  • Top of Form
 
Desirable Criteria:
  • Degree in Business and IT management or related business discipline
  • Demonstrable experience working in either a procurement/purchasing/ IT or Logistics role
