Finance Manager - Decision Support



The successful candidate will join the Decision Support team of a Manager, part KBC's Finance department.

The Decision Support team assists the business with all finance-related matters and provides an analytical perspective to important strategic decisions. In addition it designs, implements and manages reporting and processes that support business needs. This includes developing financial forecasts and analyses, generating internal management reports, assist ASU management with reporting requirements, monitoring key performance indicators and peer analysis. It also acts as a liaison with KBC Group Investor Relations.

Duties:

* Support delivery of the bank’s key strategies with enhanced performance metrics
* Proactively identify and highlight key trends and issues for critical decision making
* Evaluate strategic proposals and assess financial and regulatory impacts
* Lead and coach a team and sustain a high performance culture
* Preparation of Board papers and ad hoc presentations for Executive Committee as required
* Recovery Business Partner (Retail and Corporate), providing critical management information to Recovery Business Units
* Design, implement and manage effective reporting and analysis
* Enhance forecasting methodologies including arrears, restructures and non-performing loan (NPL) reporting
* Review financial statements and liaise with auditors
* Manage Investor Relations / Rating Agency and Peer analysis presentations, demonstrating a strong understanding of market trends
* Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customer/ stakeholders (e.g. Executive Committee, Business Units, Group Finance & Investor Relations)
* Review and assess internal operational and financial control processes within Decision Support, with a continuous improvement approach aimed at enhancing financial integrity, increasing transparency and reducing operational risk.

Essential Experience:

* ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified, with PQE of 5 years +
* Financial Services background, with banking experience essential
* Successful track record in delivering to senior management
