This role will focus on the International market order distribution from various manufacturing locations within Europe, China and work with local suppliers to coordinate the delivery of clients direct mail campaign to the final destination either lettershop or postal suppliers dealing with order schedules, pricing negotiations and internal and external communications

Understanding the market requirements when importing goods into a country including key points from understanding Customs and importing of goods, VAT and Duty requirements and postal solutions.


Job Requirements:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Oversee the time delivery of goods. Maintain delivery schedules and track deliveries to ensure deliveries are met. Coordinators update and provide tracking information to customers as well as to internal managers.

Coordinates work with vendors to ensure delivery costs are maintained within the required budget and ensure the most cost effective methods of transportation is used. Support their manage in contracts negotiation  with outside transportation companies, handle complaints, and investigate delivery issues. These will also be the point of contact in managing damaged products and late or lost deliveries.

The role will support current and new transportation sourcing strategies that will identify opportunities to drive the business forward. It will be necessary to deliver through teams and leverage internal resources for long-term resolution.

  • Excellent English - Written and Oral
  • Other languages required - Italian, French, German, dutch
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in limited supervision role
  • Must have a high level of education and experience within an office environment, international shipping and International postal solutions.
  • Must be organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced and pressured environment, communicating effectively with both colleagues and clients and following verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to efficiently solve problems relating to sales, finance and transportation of goods in locations both national and overseas.
  • Must be able to operate Microsoft Office and be familiar with any other software pertinent to your industry.
  • You will be expected to negotiate terms and fee rates and so it is important that you have previous experience in this area and are numerate.
Other Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-5 years of logistics/transportation experience in an administrative capacity preferred
  • Third party logistics experience is a plus
  • Experience in Import and Export Duty and VAT and custom clearance
Excellent computer, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel. Requires excellent organizational skills; with the ability to work under fast paced and adverse conditions.
