Within our business unit HPCE in Leinfelden Echetrdingen we are currently looking for a

Solution Architect HPCE (m/f)


  • Identification of sales leads from a technical perspective
  • Development of strategies for HPC and storage projects in the EMEA region, including
    the design of customised solutions
  • Preparation of technical proposals
  • Close cooperation with the sales organisation
  • Gathering and transforming internal & external partners’ requirements
  • Product and solution presentations to customers
  • Development of close customer relationships, for NEC to be trusted advisor to drive
    solution improvements
  • Performing technical competitive analyses based on customer experience
  • Responding to market changes and demands with foresight
  • Close collaboration with other departments in the pre- and post-sales phase
  • Support with trade shows

    Education and Experience:
  • Degree in science, ideally with technical/ engineering background, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of High Performance Computing experience
  • Deep technical competence in the LINUX-cluster business
  • Excellent understanding of interconnect technologies, software stacks, CPU architectures, parallel file systems
  • Proven project management skills
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with attention to details
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of commitment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, direct, and manage customer relationships
  • Self-motivated, proactive and flexible
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Full and clean driver’s license
  • Ability and willingness to travel
