EUROPEAN RAIL MARKET MANAGER - Connectors (rif. 5051)

Reporting to the Market Director Transportation, leads and executes strategy to drive and sustain growth in the European Rail market.
The overall goal will be growing ICS opportunity funnel, market share and revenues while improving reach to new customers and projects within the Rail Market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing regional strategy for the Rail market
  • Identify customer needs and transfer them into inputs for product roadmap
  • Work with the product managers to ensure proper product pipeline for Rail customers
  • Drive the regional NPI activities for Customer-Specific solutions, leading cross functional teams
  • Ensure a deep understanding of the customer applications
  • Analyze market & industry data, monitor competitors and translates information into inputs for product line plans
  • Support the sales organization in designing-in ICS solutions
  • Identify gaps and provide technical product trainings to the sales team
  • Drive and monitor regional market performance through the sales channels (direct and indirect)

Key Qualifications, Experiences & Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management or engineering or sales/business development, within multinational companies in the rail industry or similar
  • A good understanding of connector technologies for harsh environment applications
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with business plans
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; presents technically complex concepts in a way to foster understanding and acknowledgement of critical information
  • Proactive attitude
  • Flexibility in travelling (30%)
  • Customer-facing skills
  • Fluent in English, second European language will be a plus
