Our client is looking for a Solution Analyst to join their growing delivery team and help them deliver innovative technologies that are revolutionizing the payments industry!
Their product-delivery team, which is comprised of around 25 people, plays a central role in translating business and market requirements into high-quality software features and capabilities on their payment platform.  
 
Who we are looking for…?
 
  • Someone who is ready to engage with the business, who will seek to understand its purpose, its goals, the opportunities its exploring and, crucially, the value it brings to its customers.
  • An ideal candidate for the role will have previously worked as either a Product Owner on a Scrum team or as a Project Manager in a similar environment, and have the skills required to effectively champion and articulate business context for different kinds of stakeholders across the company.
  • Solution Analysts work closely with the customers and business stakeholders to define what items should be their product roadmap and then work very closely software development teams to deliver them. They play a key role in defining requirements and facilitating problem-solving within their teams, and therefore candidates for this role should have sufficiently strong technical backgrounds that enable them to do so.
  • Solution Analysts are also required to help drive the teams towards the delivery of value, assist their teams on maximizing the ROI of whatever they do, and must hence have excellent leadership and management skills too.
  • The ideal candidate for this role should also be enthusiastic and driven, someone who is ready for a challenge, who is ready to collaborate and always seeks to delivers value in whatever they do.
 
Your Profile  
 
  • You have experience as a Product Owner, a Business Analyst, or in a similar role and are adept at translating business goals and objectives into software requirements.
  • You have good organizational skills with some background in Project Management or in a planning role.
  • You embrace core agile values and you have strong team spirit.
  • You are a good communicator and are keen on collaborating with other people with different backgrounds and skill sets.
  • You have experience working with and/or within software development teams.
  • You have a delivery-mindset: you set high-standards for yourself in your work, understand the value of what you’re doing and want to play a key part in making whatever we do a success.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Work with clients, Product Managers and many other stakeholders across the business to define the roadmap for their product-line and/or projects.
  • Deliver your projects as part of a cross-functional delivery team using appropriate agile methodologies and iterative planning.
  • Collaborate and contribute toward the delivery of valuable high-quality software solutions to the problems you and your team must solve.
  • Own your projects; drive them to completion, monitor and report on progress against expected ROI.
  • Proactively seek to understand and share the context behind all your projects; clearly articulate use-cases and requirements, champion business objectives and help drive the team to achieve them, relay technical ideas, concerns and context back to the business.
