Job Description:

Integrated BIM is looking for a full-time BIM/CAD Technician with a dedication for technology and innovation. Join our youthful and energetic team, work on international projects from the US to Europe, and from Europe to the Middle East which will enable you to work various international projects with the latest BIM technologies and workflow.

You will be working with a small, but a very productive team of people who give their best in every project. No matter how challenging it is - it is always exciting.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other designers, engineers, architects and clients to convert information into layout designs, drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD

  • Decipher information received from various formats (sketches, BIM Execution Plans, Architectural drawings, AutoCAD drawings, PDFs for development and delivery of 2D/3D design packages, perform 3D modelling assessments among multiple project life cycles

  • Familiarity with UK & US CAD Standards

  • Familiarity with BIM standards is not compulsory but considered as an asset

  • Capable of translating project requirements into drawings/models that will be used by Engineers and Architects to build Systems

  • Good communication skills required to interface with customers, engineers and designers

  • Understand and operate according to project scope, specifications and design criteria within a project task team

  • Understand and manage drawing workflows between engineering disciplines

  • Share success and setbacks with fellow designers/drafters to ensure drawing accuracy and improve skill level

  • Create 3D models of systems to support design initiatives by working with the engineering team

  • Participate in design coordination and clash detection correction sessions working with other contractors and architects

  • Develop model families (primarily Revit families) for general and project-specific needs

  • Work with other modellers, CAD specialists and designers to build/manage model databases, templates and standard procedures

  • Perform quality checks on modelling efforts of others to ensure tools to support upstream engineering or downstream project management

  • Investigate and develop methods to use BIM models or software tools to support engineering or downstream project management

Job Requirements:

  • Studying or just graduated with extensive experience in REVIT, AutoCAD, construction or relevant field experience

  • Good understanding of construction modelling and documentation

  • Complex problem-solving ability required. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, group atmosphere

  • Working experience and knowledge with BIM

  • Provable experience building or maintaining model family libraries

  • Generate plan drawings, equipment layouts, details, and schedules using Revit for projects in various phases of design and construction according to industry standards

  • Computer-Aided Design for MEP design, construction or systems manufacturing is not mandatory but considered as an asset

  • Flexible approach to work and adhering to deadlines

  • Professional level of communication in English
