SOFTWARE ENGINEER – 2ND LEVEL TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Malta

Our client is an international company operating in the online payments industry. They are currently looking for a Technical support officer for their office in central Malta.

This person will become familiar with the technical aspects of the platform and will become an expert on the product to support the internal business and technical teams.

Skills required are
  • MySQL knowledge - ability to understand a database layout and relationships construct complex queries, manage tables & indexes
  • PHP 5 - 3+ years commercial experience, solid level of knowledge including OOP
  • Knowledge of javascript, jquery
  • XML knowledge and experience
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with templating engines beneficial
  • Excellent eye for design and consistency.
  • Familiarity with Linux / Unix environment
  • Proactive in problem solving and troubleshooting & are self-motivated and resourceful
