Job Description:

By building the perfect network for buying and selling second hand fashion we try create a world where secondhand fashion is the norm! As Android developer at United Wardrobe you’ll join one of our two product teams. Together with your teammates - an iOS & full stack developer - you’ll get the full freedom to come up with and roll out A/B tests to improve our 5 product KPIs: activation, retention, virality, conversion & engagement.

About the job:

  • Impact: your code will be used by over 1.3M monthly active users.
  • Our product teams work autonomously, meaning that you get the full freedom to:

    • Come up with A/B tests by using your creativity, analysing data, doing surveys, looking at competitors etc.

    • Priore A/B testings based on Impact, confidence and ease.

    • Analyse the A/B tests you ran

  • You implement A/B testings in the Android app independently (but you can always brainstorm with our other two Android developers).

  • Stack = Java (Gradle, Android Studio, Material Design e.o.)

  • Our Android app supports Jelly Bean (SDK 16) and later

  • We deploy new development builds continuously and try to make production releases at least weekly.

Job Requirements:

What we offer:

  • Freedom: you get to use both your technical, commercial and creative skills.

  • An incredible dynamic learning environment:

    • We prefer to move and learn fast with the risk of breaking things temporarily, rather than safely walking the beaten path.

    • Fast adoption of new technologies: we believe working with the newest technologies can give us a competitive advantage.

  • A young and fresh team: we are not stuck in ineffective structures and are always open to good ideas and experiments.

  • Free daily lunch and weekly Friday afternoon drinks @ United Bardrobe.

  • Competitive wage based on your relevant experience.

About you:

  • You want to belong among the best in your field, now and in the future.

  • You love to use both your creativity and technical skills set.

  • You are determined to improve the commercial performance of United Wardrobe by building the perfect product experience.

  • You have at least one year of experience developing Android apps in Java.

  • You work well in a young team and a dynamic environment.

  • You take full responsibility for your projects.
