Job Summary:
Drive and grow profitable sales for the Group portfolio in the assigned market territories or customers by promoting the Wencor products and services. Acting as the key interface towards the customers to ensure customer satisfaction via building new or enhancing existing customer relationships at all levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct Sales responsibilities
  • Foster relationships with our customers to understand and interpret their current and future needs to design Wencor Solutions enabling the customer and Wencor to benefit
  • Actively manage the portfolio given and ensure a maximum penetration in terms of width and depth of the Wencor product lines
  • Accountable to reach goals assigned to the portfolio
  • Manage the assigned accounts/customers in the region.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts and proactive sales efforts within the region.
  • Effectively Communicate regional activities to management and partner companies when required
  • Read, interpret, analyze, create and forecast profit and loss data
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and closely collaborate with the relevant team members to ensure Wencor captures the potential.
  • Monitor the preferences of customers and ensure such customer demand in the market is property channeled and taken into consideration into the overall marketing/sales effort by the management
  • Collaboratively work across functions to deliver the best Solutions for the Customer
Management and leadership responsibilities
  • Assist the VP in the region to set goals and objectives for the sales team and assure support to the strategic initiatives related to achieving these goals.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and training to inside sales personnel/ account manager for the region or Junior sales staff being reported to this position to ensure an optimal team performance
  • Represent region in management meetings when participation is required, elaborate issues and engage actively with internal stake holders to ensure better communication and support to the assigned regions.
  • Actively participate in the strategic projects which needs contribution without compromising the key sales responsibilities for assigned accounts
  • Conduct performance evaluations for subordinate employees if any direct report.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical manuals and procedures, and government regulations. 
  • Ability to articulate in business conversations, trip reports and clearly communicate internally or externally for issues, solutions and business case.   
  • Ability to effectively doing presentation to internal and external stake holders at senior level
  • Ability to inquire effectively and collect data, and analyze data for business case such as probability and statistical inference. 
  • Must be fluent with MS Office software and other basic business tools.
  • Previous Aerospace sales experience is a must and demonstrate good customer network in specific market segments
  • Has solid understanding of the aviation industry and able to dialogue at senior level for key subjects relevant to the industry
  • Able to work in multi-cultural environment and act as a committed/collaborative team player, showing respect and always act professionally.
  • Able to lead as a role model and provide coaching/guidance to junior staff for business related issues and work closely with internal stake holders to set effective strategies to win business.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering preferred
  • MBA degree will be a huge advantage
  • Six to Ten years aerospace industry experience and/or training required; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluent in Mandarin or any other foreign languages in Asia would be an advantage
