Who we're looking for:

We’re looking for an Operations Intern for the Southern Europe Market to join our Sales Operations Team in Madrid, Spain. The intern will gain insights in the fields of Operations, Business Development and Sales.The internship has an ideal duration of 6-8 month and will focus on various Sales & Operations activities ranging from optimizing sales processes to informing Stakeholders about relevant issues, providing product and service advice to customers and developing operations tools. The intern will be under the guidance of the Regional Director Southern Europe. And, of course, this is a paid internship!


Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Order to Remittance (OTR) process; from Customer Orders to delivery.
  • Optimize the sales processes within the customer journey
  • Assess customer orders received from Sales and assure that they are correctly processed through the ERP system
  • Track open orders through the Open Order Report
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions and products to meet the agreed SLA’s
  • Keep the sales team and customers informed on their order delivery statuses
  • Inform partners, customers and cross-functional teams within EV-Box about relevant issues
  • Resolve issues related to customer orders
  • In liaison with sales advise the Supply Chain Planning and Purchasing team on safety stocks and upcoming demand
  • Highlight and correct pricing discrepancies
  • Handle product returns via the RMA process and follow up with the assembly partners.
  • Advise sales and customers on international transport incl. incoterms, duties and transport costs.
  • Develop and maintain operations tools and other instruments to ensure successful operations activities
  • Provide product and service advice to existing customers, in cooperation with customer/partner’s account manager


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Circa 1-2 years’ of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of working with CRM systems
  • Verbal and written communication skills in Spanish & English
  • Self-organisation
  • Customer oriented mind-set
  • Must be enrolled in university for the whole duration of the internship
  • The internship has a duration of 6-8 month
