Job Description:

Our client is an Investment Bank in Switzerland and this professional will report to On-Boarding Team Leader with regard to KYC research / due diligence checks and supporting the Onboarding Team in its daily activities with following responsibilities:
- Control and check account opening packs, ensuring that all mandatory sections are completed and have been correctly certified as per internal guidelines and regulatory requirements (current CDB, FINMA, FATCA, EU Savings Directive, CRS);
- KYC control, research and assessment of low, medium, high-risk clients;
- Liaison and coordination with AML special desk;
- Pre-approval of payments;
- Sanction filtering;
- Support front employees (relationship manager & account officers) in Compliance related topics;
- Supervise the compliance to the Swiss anti-money laundering law and determine minimum standards for the bank;
- KYC reviews;
- Ensure -that the account opening and documentation procedures are in line with current CDB, Swiss Anti Money Laundering as well as FINMA regulations;
- Provide advisory support to stakeholders regarding account opening documents or change of account structure or complex cases;
- Responsible for account status (blocking) related to current CDB 16 regulations;
- Maintain/assess for further use databases and tracking systems to report KPIs and Pending Items;
- Supervise the opening of client's accounts in various banking tools;
- Data quality assurance in various core and satellite systems;
- Control and ensure that client files are complete and all mandatory documents are received.

Job Requirements:

- Higher educational degree (University) preferably in the legal, economics or business administration area;
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in Documentation/Onboarding Department in Banking sector, which however is not an absolute requirement;
- Knowledge on current CDB16 and FINMA regulatory requirements (FATCA, CRS, etc.);
- Availability to live in Switzerland;
- Very good technical skills in Microsoft Excel and access;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Structured, very good organizational and administrative skills;
- Flexibility and able to handle a fast-paced work environment;
- Fluency in English and Portuguese;
- Seeks to join the collaborative working environment of a dynamic international team and to share experience acquired to excel as a team;
- Exceptional communication skills;
- Very Good interpersonal relationship.
