Job Description:

It comprises an integrated cluster of branded agencies and specialisms, encompassing medical communications, healthcare learning, clinical and commercial consultancy, market access, rare diseases, genomic medicine, digital engagement and advocacy.

 

To support the continued growth of AMICULUM’s global healthcare communications business, it is creating a new opportunity for an individual to provide strategic and commercial leadership in the Middle East and beyond. The successful candidate will partner with clients and colleagues to ensure the delivery of complex medical communication and healthcare learning assignments, in addition to:

 

  • Providing clients with a high level of scientific and commercial expertise
  • Establishing and building on positive long-term relationships with client teams
  • Uncovering new business opportunities with existing and new clients and leading the business development process, both in the Middle East and globally
  • Collaborating with leading medical experts and AMICULUM colleagues across all offices
  • Developing AMICULUM’s team and presence in the Middle East

Job Requirements:

Candidates for this role should have:

 

  • A strong science background with significant agency (or similar) editorial or commercial experience – ideally with a doctorate-level biomedical degree
  • Significant experience gained in the healthcare communications sector in the Middle East
  • An in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical clients and compliance/content approval requirements
  • The capability to work across multiple therapy areas
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Experience leading and managing multifunctional teams across multiple countries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a diplomatic approach to dealing with multiple client and team requirements
  • Intermediate/advanced skills with standard business software packages (Word/Excel/PowerPoint essential)
