ACCOUNT MANAGER – PPE / DISTRIBUTION

IPSWICH

UP TO £30,000 BASIC

Get Recruited are currently supporting an industry leading organisation based in Ipswich who, due to exponential growth, are seeking an Account Manager to join their successful team.

As the Account Manager, you will work closely with the marketing team who will provide you with warm leads and existing accounts. Whilst this is mainly an inbound sales role, you will be required to identify, target and secure new business opportunities in order to increase your existing client portfolio.

THE ROLE:

* As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for the qualification of leads generated through the website, inbound calls and other enquiries
* Offering a consultative approach, introducing the portfolio of products before negotiating contracts and closing the sale
* Managing your own allocated accounts, both current and lapsed, developing strong relationships and securing repeat business
* Recording all sales activity of Salesforce, updating customer details as required
* Completing other sales related duties as required

THE PERSON:

* At least 1 years’ experience within an account manager, inbound sales, business development or new business role
* Background in distribution, transport, logistics, construction or PPE is essential for this role
* Must be able to demonstrate an ability to manipulate spreadsheets to a basic calculation level
* Educated to A Level as a minimum
* Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
* Competent using Microsoft Office and previous experience of using a CRM system
* Positive approach to your work with a ‘can-do’ attitude
