Clothes Aid is a social business working on behalf of some of the UK’s best known charities (Including Macmillan, NSPCC and Make-a-Wish).

Clothes Aid is recruiting self-employed, established charity collection teams for the efficient distribution of charity bags and the collection of donated clothing from residential areas in Northern England.

All teams should consist of one driver and two or three distributors. Drivers must have a clean driving licence. For insurance purposes, drivers must be aged 25 or over.
All team members must have a right to work in the UK, be physically fit, enjoy working outdoors, and be reliable and self-motivated. Teams will be expected to deliver the distribution and collection services between Monday and Friday each week. Contractual earnings will be based on results.

Our Requirements for Self-Employed charity collection team members are:

o Clean Driving Licence valid in the UK.
o Drivers must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes if hiring Clothes Aid vehicles.
o Team members must be self-sufficient – must be able to support themselves financially for a period of at least four to six weeks at the start of their service contract.
o Must have the right to work in the UK.
o Must be able to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with the UK public.
o Must be physically fit.

Teams will be required to post a minimum of 12,000 charity bags per week for a 4 person team, and will be paid a minimum of £875.00 per tonne collected.

Potential weekly earnings for a 4 person team based on 12,000 bags distributed and a response rate of 150kg per thousand bags will be £1,575.00. This includes payments to the team driver of at least £175.00, and at least £175.00 to each distributor. These earnings are gross values before any statutory UK deductions for tax and national Insurance.

Please note that, as self-employed teams paid solely on results – team contractual earnings will fluctuate depending on the number of bags distributed and the response rate per thousand bags.

(The response rate is the kilograms of donated clothing collected per thousand bags distributed).
