Job Summary:
This "hunter" position requires senior-level software sales expertise with a proven track record of prospecting and closing new $2,000,000+ business with a big name enterprise software companies. The successful candidate will have sold enterprise software solutions & services to any of the Meridium core market industries for a minimum of 5 years and will have attained top performer awards. You will likely have experience selling ERP, ECM, EAM, APM or similar and have a solid track record of consistent quota achievement using a recognized sales methodology such as Complex Sales, TAS, or Miller Heiman. The role reports to the Sales Director for Europe located in the UK covering defined key target accounts headquartered across Europe or CIS. You will be supported by a global and local marketing team plus inside sales, pre-sales, professional services and a network of leading global partners.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Software license and professional services sales quota attainment
  • Developing and executing strategic account sales plans
  • Following the company sales process methodology and executing on all stages of the sales cycle
  • Timely and accurate reporting on all sales opportunities and action in the company CRM
  • Working with (not through) partners to drive new business
  • Prospecting for and qualifying leads in addition to those provided by inside sales and marketing
  • Contributing to marketing strategy with respect to your target accounts and market sector
  • Developing and managing reference accounts and relationships
  • Remote management of cross functional account pursuit teams

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of enterprise software solution sales experience
  • Evidenced of 3 recent years $m software quota achievement
  • Has personally led and closed at least one $m license deal in one of Meridium’s core markets
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills with C-level gravitas and functional level credibility
  • International sales experience relevant to the region
  • Certified sales training in a recognised sales methodology such as Complex Sales, TAS, Miller Heiman or similar
  • Stable work history
  • Willingness to travel 50%- 75%, regionally and internationally
  • Degree in a technical or scientific discipline
  • English speaking
  • Business level proficiency in additional languages of growth countries in the region a distinct advantage
