Job Summary:
Meridium is seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to develop incoming leads and grow the sales pipeline with qualified opportunities by identifying, prioritizing, qualifying, and developing prospective customers. The Inside Enterprise Sales Representative will be working with existing  customers and finding net new opportunities in order to grow revenue.

Responsibilities: 
  • Drive and close net new software and services opportunities using a defined sales methodology
  • Support Sales Managers in developing enterprise software opportunities early in the sales cycle
  • Develop new leads through email, social media networking, web research and cold calling
  • Discover and document key roles at target accounts such as decision makers, stakeholders and influencers
  • Screen and prioritise incoming leads from a variety of marketing activities
  • Build relationships with existing clients to find revenue opportunities for new Meridium products  and services
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Meridium’s products and services portfolio, value propositions, customer success stories, customer applications and competitive differentiators
  • Develop an understanding of the business drivers for Meridium’s target industries, stakeholders and users
  • Work with internal Meridium processes and resources required to effectively manage the inside sales pipeline, including the tracking of all opportunities and activities in CRM
  • Engage Solution Consultants, Subject Matter Experts, or Product Managers as required to address prospects’ questions or to overcome obstacles.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline goals, as well as defined objectives.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience inside sales experience for an enterprise software company
  • Experience with software or high-tech business applications
  • A proven track record of reaching and exceeding targets
  • Experience with demand generation tools (such as Eloqua, and Compendium) a plus
  • Outgoing personality and excellent phone and social media skills
  • Proven ability to develop a professional rapport, engage prospects in meaningful dialog about issues they are trying solve, and address initial questions and objections confidently and professionally
  • Ability to talk to business executives who make business decisions
  • Ability to navigate large organizations to identify decision makers and stake holders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • An affinity for technology and a strong desire to learn
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and processes
  • Experience with MS Office and web meeting tools such as WebEx, NetMeeting, Linktivity
  • Fluent in English
  • Business level proficiency in French, German, Italian, or Spanish,
  • Ability to travel 25% - 50%
