Job Summary:

Meridium seeks an experienced EMEA Marketing Programs Manager to develop, execute and measure marketing programs, campaigns and demand generation activities to bring in new qualified marketing leads as well as accelerate the
existing funnel. The qualified candidate has demonstrated success in a marketing role for a software company with program, campaign and demand generation responsibilities that reach new customers, and expand customer retention
and revenue growth within the existing customer base. This position will report to the Global Marketing Program Director and the Managing Director of EMEA.

Responsibilities:
  • Leveraging corporate assets, messaging, and campaigns for optimal performance in the EMEA region. Assets include but not limited to email, direct mail, webinar, social media and event support.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms as well as data acquisition and cleanliness.
  • Develop annual marketing program plan for the EMEA Region and complimentary campaign plans, including program topics, market segmentation and targeted buying center identification
  • Develop and execute online and offline marketing programs with the purpose of generating new marketing qualified leads and nurturing leads
  • Make recommendations on regional media partners for corporate spend on banner ads, sponsorships, cobranded email, and other creative means to reach online audiences
  • Help to grow our prospect database and deepen our relationship with current database members through a broad range of online and other communications
  • Work with all areas of marketing department in coordinated and collaborative fashion, recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion
  • Understand Meridium solution strengths, functionality and the competition in sufficient depth to devise and execute differentiated demand generation programs
  • Create regional reports on the marketing funnels, MQLs generated, SALs, down to closed deals.
  • Provide campaign reporting and analytics using Eloqua and other available data sources / reporting tools to track campaign performance against plan, response rates, offer conversations, pipeline targets and ROI (monthly and
  • quarterly.)
  • Provide campaign overviews to sales teams prior to kick-off to ensure that they are briefed and have the right tools to follow up as required.
  • Represent Meridium outside of the office by attending external events.
  • Manage portions of the marketing budget for regional activities.
  • Work with corporate marketing to publish the regional marketing campaign calendar with inside sales and direct sales team to ensure all stakeholders have visibility on campaigns tactics and offers by sales vertical and / or territory
  • Work with a variety of partners on joint marketing efforts to fill the top of the funnel as well as accelerate the pipeline.
  • Work with corporate marketing to evaluate the success of proposed campaigns based on past performance
  • Optimize poorly performing lead generation programs through copy and list adjustment
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales on call scripts, campaigns and talking points

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or business area
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B marketing program / campaign execution and lead generation experience with a software company
  • Demonstrated success directly managing lead generation and lead nurturing programs
  • Clear understanding of ROI analysis and proven analytical ability to track multiple campaigns, analyze results, and recommend changes
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Vertical industry experience in asset-intensive industries is desirable (such as oil & gas, utilities, chemicals, transportation, defense, mining, metals) is preferred.
  • Clear understanding of database marketing, CRM, marketing automation and analytic tools (such as Microsoft
  • CRM, Eloqua, Salesforce.com, Epiphany, Silverpop, Marketo, etc)
  • Strong copy writing and editing skills a plus.
  • Excellent verbal skills and a history of developing and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Experience in managing and delivering Webinars and face-to-face live presentations.
  • Experience in working with and managing external vendor / partner relationships.
  • Experience working on joint marketing programs with indirect channel partners and influencing partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members, customers, sales, etc.
  • High self-motivation with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to travel 50% -75% internationally and domestically.
  • Excellent writing skills and fluency in English. Write compelling copy for email campaigns, promotions and landing pages
  • Command of other European Languages.
