Due to a period of successful and sustained growth, a global manufacturer of high value, heavily engineered products to the Aerospace and Power Generation sectors, has a new and exciting vacancy for a Sales Office Manager. It is a challenging and varied position with the main responsibility being the day to management of the internal commercial team who manage the customer relationships as well as supporting a high value, international field sales team. As the Sales Office Manager, your key responsibilities include:Cultivating, managing, and maintaining excellent relationships with both your own and your internal commercial team’s customers. Being commercially astute from initial customer enquiry through to quote, actioning, assessing win/loss ratio’s and being able to asses recorded data accurately, reporting to management / sales on KPI’s, Budget/Forecasts and contract reviews.Represent the department during management meetings, onsite client visits and in a cross functional capacity working with other areas of the manufacturing business.Involvement with New Product Introduction to both new and existing clients. This is a multifaceted role and has varied and challenging components to it including people management, commercial, business, relationships, technical and communication. The successful Sales Office Manager will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:Degree qualified in a numerate, engineering or business discipline.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurised, high value manufacturing sales environment whilst managing an internal commercial team or similar.Superb relationship cultivator with both internal and external clients.Commercially astute with excellent negotiating skillsHighly competent/technical in the use of Excel and high standard of commercial use with all other Microsoft products. Be confident, organised with an energetic and positive approach to professional life. In return the Office Manager will receive a starting salary of £40,000 - £42,000 pa dependent on experience plus 33 days’ holiday and a contribution pension scheme (employer matching up to 10%). There will also be a discretionary bonus paid quarterly (performance dependent).
