We have an opening for an experienced Accounts and Administration Manager to work for a multi-award winning and eco-friendly educational facility in Billericay.

The Job

It is a varied role where you will have full control over not only the companies accounts, parent accounts, staff accounts and new customers, reviewing and taking responsibility for the management of sales and relationships with customers and staff delivering a high level of support including nursery funding, milk and food accounts, maintaining staff and bus excel rota’s, room audits, budgets and payroll, but also Bookkeeping and Administrational duties and general running of the office.

* Strong administrative skills required - including dealing with telephone inquiries and managing email accounts.
* Must be very experienced in using Word and Excel to an intermediate level. (Advanced Excel skills desired)
* Previous bookkeeping experience required accounts receivable inter-department accounting is desirable.
* An on-line accounting package is used and full training will be provided, but basic double-entry bookkeeping knowledge will be required. (No VAT experience required.)
* Maintaining bookkeeping records folders for sales and purchase invoices.
* Previous experience of maintaining and checking monthly budgets and matching cost invoices to records.
* Dealing with parent enquires on sales invoices and on occasions, phone, and email credit control.

What we need from you

You will have at least 2 years Accounts experience which will include Bookkeeping.
Be extremely organised with excellent Administrational skills.

Have a friendly but approachable manner but also be authoritative when needed.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be CRB checked, and also own your own car due to the rural location of the role.
