CMD Recruitment are proud to offer a vacancy for a Training and Development Officer in Health and Social Care in the Doncaster area. This role will be teaching and assessing Level 3 in Health and Social Care apprentiships. As a TDO in Health and Social Care you will be passionate about inspiring learners to achieve.Our client recognise that Health and Social care is an important sector. Quality is high on our agenda and you will therefore use a range of techniques, always striving to deliver the best.Working in a growing organisation, you will be based remotely and have a caseload of learners across the region. Using your experience and knowledge, you will tailor the appropriate solution for the learner, ensuring they have a positive experience and develop their interest and confidence in Health and Social Care making a real impact on the Care Sector.You will be able to deliver up to at least level 3 in H&S care and be confident at all stages of the programme from initial engagement, meeting stakeholders, using a range of teaching methods and learner centred learning strategy in line with appropriate awarding bodies requirements.Your enthusiasm will be infectious and coupled with your desire to make a change, we will offer an exciting environment allowing you to develop too.Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum dependant on skills and experience Closing date: Friday 16th March 2018Knowledge skills & experienceWe are looking for caring people who are passionate about supporting learners through their development journey, our essential requirements are: * Assessment Qualification (TAQA/A1/D32/33) * NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care; or equivalent * Teaching Qualification (CERT.Ed, PGCE, PTTLLS, DTTLLS, CTTLLS or equivalent) * Ability to demonstrate sector experience * Functional Skills Level 1 (Mathematics, English & ICT) or equivalent * Previous experience of working remotely * IT competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including spreadsheetsDesirable * NVQ Level 5 in Health and SocialPersonWorking for our client, you will need to be a people person, representing and promoting our values to our learners & employers.
