If you are a CASS regulatory specialist, looking for a new permanent challenge in Edinburgh, an opportunity exists in a leading investment firm. Reporting to the CF10a, working in a small specialist team, you will be involved in a range of tasks from due diligence of CASS controls, working with senior stakeholders to monitor for any breaches and implement solution.


* Up to date knowledge of industry and regulatory aspects relating to the FCA CASS regime and all associated rules and requirements
* Excellent relationship building skills and ability to maintain good relationships and cooperation of inter-related departments.


* Operations experience desirable.

Core Responsibilities:

* Responsible for maintaining and enhancing governance activities and ensuring compliance to the FCA CASS regime.
* Provide monthly assurance to the CF10a and senior management that this area is being appropriately managed and controlled and meets all appropriate Regulatory requirements.
* Assist in the review of any breaches of the CASS Rules and advise on corrective action/additional controls as required.
* Drive regulatory standards from a CASS perspective, including the monitoring of any breaches and the subsequent improvement of controls.
* Collate information around due diligence of third parties who hold or control client assets on behalf of our client
* Promote positive awareness of CASS requirements throughout the business.
* Assist with the production of a monthly CASS operations oversight presentation for the governance committees and board as appropriate
* Maintain the FCA CASS training materials
* Any ad-hoc tasks as directed by the CF10a or deputy CF10a as required.
