Great opportunity for an experienced permanent Software Testing Professional, with proven experience gained within an agile environment and a financial services background. Working in a small team, you will have exposure to the full testing cycle, working closely with the product owners to contribute to ideas and solutions and be involved in making a difference.

You must have ISTQB Certification together with strong practical experience of a range of testing tools including Microsoft Test Manager and SQL Server Management Studio. This is a rare chance to work as part of a close-knit team, where you are encouraged to contribute new ideas and processes!

Essential:

* ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation level certified
* Strong experience of agile software testing in a financial services environment (ideally pensions)
* Experience of working within a data heavy, complex, regulatory environment
* Experience in testing for functional quality
* Excellent Communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels
* Ability to build strong relationships within a team through good friendly clear communication, listening to others, respecting others’ opinions and being reliable

Desirable:

* Broad based knowledge of computer based products and services

Core responsibilities:

* Responsible for quality assuring all aspects of software delivery from feasibility to build
* All aspects of the testing lifecycle
* Working with the product owner to identify effective solutions
* Evaluating exit criteria and reporting
* Short feedback loops to development teams
* Defect management
* Release cycle management and version control
* Management of the client relationship through the acceptance process
* Working with key internal stakeholders
