Job Description:

Flexistaff are currently looking to recruit a CNC Punch / Laser Operator (Setter, Operator) for a long established Engineering Company based in Pitstone, near Tring.



Main Purpose of Role:

To manufacture precision punch blanks using CNC punch and laser machine tools

Main duties will include:

* Set and operate CNC punch and laser machine tools
* For new parts, work with Team Leaders to ensure correct first off procedure is maintained.
* For repeat parts, set and operate each job using pre-defined methods, tooling and programmes.
* Obtain First Off inspection approval.
* Accurately log operation times on Company production software.
* Assisting in other metal working practices if required.
* Work safely at all times and follow all H&S policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and tidy work area.

Experience required:

* Recent and broad experience CNC punch machine tools
* Must be able to read engineering drawings and making new parts (confident and competent)
* Experience working in subcontract engineering environment

This is a 12 week Temp to Perm Position

Hours of work Monday-Friday 50 hours per week

Pay £10 per hour
