SALES OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR / COORDINATOR

MANCHESTER

£18,000 - £22,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

FUN, VIBRANT, FAMILY ORIENTATED OFFICE

ONGOING TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT, PROGRESSION

The Company: -

My client is a leading independent distributor based in the UK. They form part of a larger group of companies but still trade as an independent family business with the same morals they set out with in the late 1700’s.

The Role: -

This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client at their Manchester Depot as a Sales Office Administrator. You will form a pivotal part of the sales team and be the direct point of contact for our customers. You will ensure all requirements and orders are fulfilled in accordance with the company’s Quality system.

Responsible for all inputting of customer orders and maintaining various spread sheets, you will be responsible for dealing with customer queries and for updating the customer and prospect contact tools with relevant information. Following up sales enquiries using appropriate methods, you will communicate, liaise and negotiate effectively, both internally and externally, and produce invoices and exchange notes when required.

This is very much a customer focused role and a lot of your time will be spent liaising with them, assisting with orders and dealing with suppliers. You must also receive and direct all incoming calls, complete a range of required paperwork and take part in regular stock takes.

The Candidate: -

Candidates for this role will have previous sales administration experience and ideally have worked within a similar environment. Working as part of a team in the depot, you will need to be self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively to ensure all administration is kept up to date. A good level of IT literacy and excellent telephone manner is required for the role.

If you feel that you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role then apply today!
