Job Description:

One of our Chippenham based clients are currently looking to recruit for a Stores Person - initially you would be employed on a temporary basis with the view to being offered a 6-7 month contract after 6 weeks.

Duties will involve:

* Ensuring all activities in the stores are carried out efficiently and in accordance with agreed procedures.
* Working closely with colleagues in other departments. Employees should regard the collective knowledge of the company as a valuable resource.
* Liaise effectively with the Operations Co-ordinator to ensure that appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
* Issue materials from the stores in accordance with picklists or store requisitions and place into identified containers. Forward them together with the parts list to the appointed fitter.
* Ensure that all stock items physically allocated to projects are booked on the stock control system within the Company’s ERP System.
* Ensure that incoming stock items, project materials and consumable items are checked against the Purchase Order copy prior to use for conformance to - Purchase Order requirements, Damage or deterioration, Dimensional checks where appropriate, Identification as required
