NEW FILTER DESIGN SPECIALIST - RF / MICROWAVE JOB AVAILABLE IN WEST YORKSHIRE

A globally recognised engineering organisation based in West Yorkshire (commutable from areas of Leeds, Bradford, York) are seeking a skilled RF / Filter Design Engineer to join their ever-growing R&D team. We are supporting the fulfilment of a new multi-million pound space project and as such as seeking a talented Filter Design Specialist - RF / Microwave to add to the business.

In this role you will be responsible for highly complex RF / Microwave filter design, working from customer requirements / concepts through to product transfer. The majority of your time will be focused on RF filter design / development, with additional responsibilities including filter quotations and production support. This RF / Filter Engineering job is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the largest and most exciting R&D organisations in the UK.


The ideal Filter Design Specialist will have the following skills / experience:
• A very strong background in RF / Microwave filter design.
• Exposure to various filters - lumped element, planar, coaxial, cavity, electro-acoustic, waveguide, etc.
• Experience with EM simulation tools - CST, HFSS, etc.
• Hands on experience with spectrum analysers, network analysers, etc.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work individually and within a large team environment.
