Job Description:

A leading chemical company is seeking a Chemist to join their manufacturing site in Suffolk. (Top Tier COMAH) they are interviewing next week!

The chemist will initially report into the Technical Manager however in line with the company’s development plans; they are keen to hire someone with a progressive attitude. There is going to be significant opportunity to move into other roles within the business so it’s a great opportunity for a chemist with their first few years of experience under their belt.

Reporting to the Technical Manager you will be responsible for:

* Lead technical/process chemistry support and improvement initiatives in all chemical process plants. This would include laboratory scale reactions for process trouble shooting and process development.
* Providing technical input on various innovation platforms; working closely with Global technical teams and coordinating implementation on plant where appropriate.
* Writing and maintaining written process instructions and evaluation of plant performance in SAP and cost estimation analysis.
