As part of a global transformation, we have a great new opportunity for a Head of Customer Procurement

About the role.

As the Head of Customer Procurement, you will maintain and develop relationships with key client procurement departments with the aim of delivering high quality and competitive L&D solutions for our customers. You will provide an industry leading client procurement service, touching on all value levers (price, process, demand and value)

What you will do:

* Deliver on cost saving targets for clients in line with expectations / targets
* To work in collaboration with client procurement teams to ensure a high quality of service and act as a point of escalation for clients
* Develop partnership relationships with key Client Procurement teams,
* Develop Client specific insight reports, including category strategies to impact spend
* Create a client perception of procurement as a value-added service through increase of strategic input as measured by NPS
* Manage the preparation and monitoring of client SLA’s and KPI’s related to Procurement & Supply Chain
* Prepare and analyse client savings metrics to industry leading standards including benchmarking savings capture from other industries.
* Identify cost savings targets for Clients via a variety of initiatives, supporting Client Partners and Client Directors with the presentation of Client savings recommendations
* Understand, support and enhance end to end cross departmental processes
* Maintain an effective relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
* Own Client specific supplier reporting, providing strategic and insightful options and recommendations
* Work with Supplier Managers to ensure effective supply chains and market insight / Supply market innovation.

Your experience will include:

* Strong, demonstrable procurement experience
* Strategic client engagement and influencing in a procurement context
* Experience of effective management of multiple customer requirements in a procurement sector
* High transaction volume service business with multiple relationships and commercial models
* Proven proficiency in prioritising critical customer issues and managing workflow.
* Evidence of implementing innovative solutions within a supplier relationship management or category management role
* MCIPS qualified or studying towards MCIPS
* Learning industry experience is highly desirable
