We have an exciting opportunity to join our Customer service team. This role is a fixed term contract for a Customer Service Executive, who will be based in our Glasgow depot. Working alongside the Customer Service Manager you will work pro-actively by liaising both with external parties and internal departments and handles in the best interest of both customer and company.

You will be responsible for client retention, resolution of non-payment of invoice issues, and work closely with our Account Managers to ensure the company builds a long-term relationship with the customer and deal with any queries or requests

* Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day Customer Service related queries and requests and deal with daily business issues as they arise.
* Produce & distribute weekly and monthly customer service related reports.
* Frequent liaison with all operational departments to discuss any Customer Service related issues & proposes required improvements to improve customer experience.
* Acts as first point of contact for all Customer enquiries and issues.
* Ensures all invoice queries and complaints are logged in CRM & is responsible for managing from start to completion ensuring all relevant information is appropriately saved to CRM.
* Act as point of contact for all customer service related enquiries.
* Proactively contacts customers to gain feedback on the service & feedback to relevant departments any areas for improvements.
* Escalates issues to management as appropriate to ensure satisfactory resolutions are met.
* When required attend Customer Review meetings, either on client or our site.
* Prepare client status updates covering client specific issues to support client review meetings held by Account Managers.
* Prepare customer financial / service related reports via Excel and other Management Information systems.
* Provide the Management Team with relevant management information for Team / Board Meetings.
* Work closely with Sales Team providing relevant information to external Customers as well as internal departments.
* Attends regular meetings with internal departments to initiate and develop business improvements together with relevant internal departments.

* Has a “thick” skin and is able to handle complaints & issues, even when handling unpleasant customers.
* Flexible and adaptable- able to carry out a range of different duties and to multi task/ work on different jobs at the same time.
* IT Literate, intermediate MS office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint) – capable of creating / analysing excel reports.
* Maintains a professional attitude. Aware that they represent the company & acts accordingly.
* Has a pleasant, friendly style.
* Develops realistic, workable solutions to problems.
* Proactive in solving problems and identifying causes/ trends. Contacts customers to prevent problems arising.
* Excellent team player who is flexible and able to quickly adapt to change.
