Have you worked in a 1st/2nd line IT support environment? Are you looking for the next step in a FTSE100 business?

We are looking for a Technical Field Analyst to join our Technology to support our sites across the North Wales region. This is a crucial role in the day-to-day running of multiple business areas across Severn Trent where you will be support and proactively maintain a variety of technologies on-site.
In order to achieve this, you will provide on-site 2nd line technical support and administration of desktop and AV hardware, educate end-users on the technology as well as monitoring service performance and recommend risk mitigation actions. You will be directly involved with projects around service improvements that impact Technology and implement proactive maintenance plans including essential upgrades and software patches.
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who has worked on a service desk at a 1st/2nd line level and has hands on desktop support experience who is looking to progress their career in IT infrastructure as this role offers multiple career paths within Severn Trent.

As a Technical Field Analyst, ideally you will have:
• Experience of delivering, maintaining and supporting an on-site/field based complex IT Desktop environment
• Good working knowledge of the following: Windows Server 2008 – 2016, Office 365, SCCM, Audio-Visual equipment, network cabling, VoIP telephony, mobile phones etc.
• Good understanding of ITIL principles, particularly Incident, Change and Problem Management

This role is a field based one, you will cover our sites across North Wales. When you are not in the field, you will work from our office in Wrexham.
