LOCATION: Hull, Yorkshire JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager / Commercial Sales Executive SALARY & BENEFITS: Up to £42,000 per year dependent on experience plus benefits including excellent bonus structure for new & existing business sales, £250 per month car allowance, pension scheme, childcare vouchers and flexible working hours WORKING HOURS: Full Time THE COMPANY: Our client are the UK’s leading smart card personalisation and bureau service and have been assisting major transport operators such as Abellio, Go-Ahead and Stagecoach as well as local and metropolitan transport authorities such as Surrey County Council and Transport for London. They now seek motivated and enthusiastic individuals with Sales experience in the public and private/commercial sector and excellent communication skills to join their existing team based out of Hull, Yorkshire. THE ROLE: As a Business Development Manager / Commercial Sales Executive you will report to the Sales Director and will identify and develop sales opportunities from new and existing clients and markets, generating leads and working through the sales pipeline to create new sales work streams. You will create proposals and quotes and assist in the completion and submission of bids and tenders whilst working closely with the project delivery team to ensure smooth delivery across the project life cycle. In addition you will build and maintain effective relationships with potential and existing customers as well as internal stakeholders to enhance business development opportunities. THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Business Development Manager / Commercial Sales Executive's role must have previous Sales experience and must be a motivated and enthusiastic person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should be aware of commercial sales and tender/bidding processes and should be someone that can build effective long lasting business relations. You should be someone who has good decision making and negotiating skills and should be flexible and prepared to travel Nationally to meetings and events. Candidates must live in or within commutable distance to Hull. Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Business Development Manager / Commercial Sales Executives role in Hull :-- Previous Sales experience in both the public and private sectors essential- Good knowledge of commercial sales and tender/bidding processes- Can build and manage effective working relationships- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Should be confident, motivated and enthusiastic - Must be able to commute to Hull, Yorkshire and will need to occasionally travel to meetings and events Nationwide Does this sound like you?
