Where does this role fit in?

Sitting onsite with our client, BT, in their head office in Holborn, you’ll be looking into the bespoke system we’ve built and have serviced for years. The main focus of this role is to help ensure that BT get the best possible experience of the software application provided by ITG to BT and the service offering that wraps around it. Being the main point of contact means you’ll be getting under the skin of the system, and proactively trying to resolve issues that arise, whilst feeding user information through to our technology centre about fixes and updates which would help improve customer satisfaction.

Full training will be given on the system to get you up to speed so you can advise users on upcoming developments, as well as have meaningful conversations on their usage to ensure any issues can be resolved efficiently. Predominantly it is used by their Marketing, Procurement and Finance functions, you’ll be an experienced relationship builder to create rapport across a diverse client stakeholder base.

To say this is a unique role within our organisation would be an understatement, mainly because we’re a marketing services company rather than a software house. But our approach to customer service means that anything we’ve done we’ve thrown everything into, and BT is no different. You’ll be at the forefront of that customer service, doing everything possible to make sure that your client is happy.

This has all sounded lovely up until this point but we’ve saved the best bit until last..! Documentation and data entry, ooh yeah! Ok, we get it. You’re a customer service professional, what business do you have updating all that? We’d be lying if we said it wasn’t part of the role, making sure everything is kept up to date, but delivering exceptional customer service means that you don’t mind getting your hands dirty from time to time.

Am I the right person for the job?

It’s buzzword time! Are you a multitasker, a self-starter with a positive can-do attitude? Of course you are! You’re an Account Manager, you wouldn’t have been successful without all that. You put all that together to deliver exceptional customer service, and comfortable delivering that onsite with the client (no hiding behind phone and email with this role).

A real bonus would be is that attitude working on a marketing or finance technology product, this will help you get up to speed quicker, although full training will be given.

As an Account Manager you’re experienced in managing a sole client, we’ll need you to immerse yourself into BT, understanding all their needs without being distracted by other clients.

You’re tech savvy and you take to new systems with ease, perhaps you’ve even worked off a system previously where you’ve been an admin/super admin user? Or you’ve been part of User Acceptance Testing in a previous organisation. We’re not looking for you to be an IT professional at all though.
