Job Description:

Duties may vary depends on the arrangements (e.g. to be employed by MDIS for teaching assignment at MDIST under secondment or to be employed by MDIST); nevertheless, the general responsibilities include the followings:

1. To liaise with university coordinators or module leaders from Singapore, when required, regarding module coverage, module emphasis, textbooks and software requirements (where applicable) in consultation and through relevant departments (e.g. AA and PDM) of MDIS;
2. To provide feedback on course curriculum and materials periodically and provide standardized formats for notes/presentation and vet lecture notes where necessary;
3. To lecture and provide consultation sessions on the module based on the syllabus and according to the time-table assigned which may consist theoretical, tutorial and practical components;
4. To ensure timely and appropriate feedback is given to students even after the completion of lecture and consultation prior to the submission of assignments and before the examination period;
5. To attend Exam Board meetings of MDIS and/or the partner university

Based in : Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Job Requirements:

Minimum Master's Degree in relevant discipline with at least 2 years of teaching experience at tertiary education level

The technical requirement for Business Computing lecturer is as follow:

  • Programming skills in HTML, C, C++, Java, PHP, MQSQL, C# Sharp.
  • Subject able to teach : Networking / Information Systems / User Experience Design (HCI) / Advanced Database Concepts
