You will live a unique experience that will allow you not only to develop personally, professionally and politically but also to build and consolidate a network of European political, institutional, and associative decision-makers.
Description of EGAM
Founded in 2010, the European Grassroots Antiracist Movement (EGAM) brings together and coordinates the activities of several NGOs from more than 30 European countries in order to promote a more integrated and active European civil society against racism, anti-Semitism, racial discrimination and genocide denial in Europe. Furthermore, in 2016 EGAM launched, and now coordinates, the Elie Wiesel network of parliamentarians for the prevention of mass atrocities.
In order to fight the increase and radicalization of racist and anti-Semitic acts, the growing influence of identity ideologies, and the weakening of democratic civil society, EGAM aims to structure, train, strengthen, and mobilize the European civil society through:
  • Grassroots campaigns across Europe.
  • Lobbying campaigns with local, national, European, and international political and institutional leaders.
  • Meetings and training seminars for leaders of civil society.

As EGAM’s director, you will have the responsibility to supervise the work of the administrative and financial officers:
  • Monitoring grant applications on the local, national, and European level.
  • Coordination of fundraising and donation campaigns.
  • Monitoring the budget, the long term financial plan, as well as the financial and action reports.

Between 1.700 and 2.000 € per month, full-time, permanent contract.
