We are looking for students that enjoy writing and are curious to explore the world of technical communication and user assistance in one of the core technology areas of SAP. We provide role-specific guides, software-embedded help, video tutorials and other forms of user assistance for the SAP HANA in-memory database and cutting-edge products for data management and business warehousing. Our technologies are the basis for new, ground-breaking applications including those needed for Big Data scenarios and Internet of Things.

We cultivate an open and communicative atmosphere in our team, where each team member works independently, but in close cooperation across locations and roles. A mentoring concept assures effective “on the job” training and the ongoing opportunity to improve skills and grow career opportunities while pursuing studies at a university or university of applied science.   • Creating and updating documentation under supervision from technical writers in our team, eventually taking on responsibility for topics or projects of your own
  • Supporting the team in creating additional, target-group-specific user assistance in form of image maps, info graphics, videos, or blog posts
  • Working in a cross-functional and international team with developers, product managers as well as technical writers and translators




  • Student at a university or university of applied sciences (preferred fields of study: Linguistics, Technical Communication, English, Media, Computer Science)
  • Good spoken and written English (we write mainly in English)
  • Experience with office applications
  • High reliability, teamwork

Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
