We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our awesome team in the beautiful Munich. As a UI/UX Designer you will be involved in developing exciting new features to enhance our customers experience, with our services. You will work closely with our product team as well as our design team in UX and UI design projects and collaborate to create a unified design and work-process.

This is a role for people who love what they do. You must have a passion for the latest design trends, be obsessive about design and user experience, have great attention to detail and a love for making things pixel-perfect.


As a UI/UX Designer at optile you will design apps and sites, while using and evolving our UI Design framework. You will design interfaces that match the optile look and feel or one of our customers, incorporating your own flair into something that will be truly unique. You will communicate concepts and ideas using appropriate tools, such as sketches, wireframes, flows, prototypes etc., while engaging internal stakeholders and customers to define a long-term strategy. You will also need to conduct internal and external user tests to get input and iterate on concepts you and your team work on, by building low and high-fidelity prototypes.

The final look and feel of these products will also be your responsibility. You will need to ensure a high-level quality in the final product by working closely with engineers and designers while building a consistent user interface and experience across the entire customer journey.

Together with the design team, you will help shape the design culture at optile by being an essential stakeholder and carrying our brand throughout the organisation.


  • Experience in designing user-friendly interfaces;
  • Good skills in visual design and understanding of user experience;
  • Able to produce visual mock-ups using graphical tools;
  • Knowledge of web and mobile patterns, and how the platforms differ;
  • Good English skills in written and oral communication.

Job Requirements:


  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS to collaborate with our developers;
  • Interested in the payment industry and creative marketing;
  • Enthusiastic team player;
  • Good German skills in written and oral communication, other languages are a plus.
