Job Description:

The Protection Services Agent assists buyers and helps to resolve their seller dispute inquiries. They complete reviews and resolve claims in a timely and accurate manner using the latest in modern communication and technology tools and their knowledge of the buyer and seller protection policies. As a frontline representative, they are the primary point of contact for our customers and provide predictable, compassionate and timely resolution to all questions and inquiries.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Review and attach customer responses to claims filed against them or on their behalf.
  • Complete or cancel pending reversals when appropriate
  • Restrict accounts when appropriate
  • Close claims filed through PayPal’s Consumer Protection Policies
  • Escalate appropriately to Fraud Investigations
  • Review PayPal accounts that have been limited and determine the legitimacy of the account and account holder. This also includes determining cases that need to be resolved by the customer to lift their Limited Access

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excels at customer interaction and exhibits creativity and skill in delivering practical solutions
  • Thrives in a collaborative, team environment.
  •  Strong verbal (phone) communication skills: actively listen and speak clearly to customers
  • Strong written (email) communication skills: utilize proper grammar and punctuation
  • Ability to make discretionary decisions based on research
  • Ability to function in multiple queues, covering a variety of tasks with a sense of urgency and follow-through
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies
  • Strong working knowledge of external systems and PC based internet and software applications (Internet, Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Job Requirements

  • Fluent Hebrew & English required.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
