Job description

Interex is looking for a highly organised and proactive Junior Project Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a central role in keeping key projects on track managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, producing high-quality materials, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in project management within a fast-paced, ambitious environment. You will gain wide exposure across the business and work closely with senior leadership from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Own and manage end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
  • Maintain detailed project trackers and status logs across all ongoing workstreams
  • Proactively flag risks, blockers, and dependencies to the COO

Meetings & Communications

  • Schedule and coordinate all project-related meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up
  • Take clear, accurate meeting notes and distribute actions to relevant stakeholders
  • Act as a central point of contact for project communications

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and deliver a structured weekly project status report to the COO
  • Collate and synthesise updates from across teams into clear, concise summaries
  • Maintain thorough documentation across all projects — version-controlled and readily accessible

Decks & Analysis

  • Build, update, and manage project presentation decks to a high standard
  • Conduct desk research and gather relevant data to support decision-making
  • Perform basic analysis and reporting in Excel, including summaries, trackers, and data formatting

About You

  • 1–3 years of experience in a project management, operations, or business support role
  • Exceptional organisation skills — you manage competing priorities without letting things slip
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable working with senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and familiar with project or task management tools
  • Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to tracking and documentation
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through with minimal supervision
  • Collaborative, positive, and adaptable in a dynamic team environment

What We Offer

  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic business operations
  • Hybrid working a mix of our London office and remote flexibility
  • A high-growth environment with real opportunity for progression
  • A collaborative, driven team culture
