The company headquarters is located in Bolzano, Northern Italy, at the plant formerly owned by Lancia, a renowned manufacturer of industrial vehicles founded in 1937 and incorporated into the Iveco Group in 1975.
IDV boasts an independent internal structure entirely dedicated to research and development, with full access to the company’s extensive engineering resources
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct supplier scouting and market research to identify potential partners and opportunities.
- Collaborate daily with the Engineering team to refine supplier solutions
- Partner with the team to ensure supplier delivery schedules to meet the project milestones
- Manage orders in accordance with established purchasing procedures.
- Draft and review contracts in conjunction with internal teams.
- Monitor and ensure progress of projects within area of responsibility.
- Work closely with the Legal Department to support the drafting of contracts for tenders and services.
- Prepare detailed analysis and presentations to support decision making.
- Provide regular reports to management on purchasing activities and project status.
Required Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
Desired:
- Master's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering.
- Previous experience in a modern industrial environment, even at entry level.
- Basic knowledge of project management and/or purchasing functions.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Familiarity with integrated management systems (SAP).
