Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice, is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained accountant looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and professional environment.
The successful candidate will work with a varied portfolio of clients including audit exempt companies, sole traders, and partnerships, while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of accounts for audit exempt companies, sole traders, and partnerships
- Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns
- Preparation and filing of Corporation Tax Returns
- Completion of Company Secretarial Returns and related compliance work
- Managing client relationships and responding to day-to-day queries
- Supervising and supporting trainees within the practice
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations
- Assisting with ad hoc assignments and practice support work as required
- Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA
- Completed training within an accountancy practice environment
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualified experience within practice
- Strong experience preparing accounts for SME clients
- Good working knowledge of Irish tax compliance requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client priorities
- Experience supervising or mentoring trainees is advantageous
