Core-asset Consulting is seeking a number of Legal graduates who are keen to develop a career within the financial services industry. This is a fantastic new opportunity within the newly created legal function in Glasgow of an expanding Global Financial Services organisation. You will play a key role within the legal team where you will be exposed to a range of financial services contractual documentation.

The business is also open to considering junior solicitors with commercial, contracts or banking & finance experience or it can simply be an individual with a legal background holding a law degree or diploma with an interest in pursuing a career in financial services.

The ideal candidate should be bright, highly organised, ambitious and have excellent communication skills in order to succeed in this particular role. This is a unique opportunity as there is the potential of a legal training contract once established for non-qualified individuals. Core Responsibilities:

The Master Agreements team is responsible for producing, negotiating and following through to execution the following documentation along with others:

* Negotiating agreements as well as performing due diligence
* Draft agreements linked to credit facilities and project finance agreements
* Obtaining and reviewing legal advice from external counsel
* Maintaining awareness of legal developments and policies and guidelines
* Negotiation and timely execution of agreements and co-ordination throughout the process

Core Skills/Experience:

* Undergraduate or postgraduate in Law or qualified Solicitor under 3 years PQE
* Eager and willing to learn the necessary skills to be able to effectively co-ordinate and negotiate agreements. On the job training will be provided.
* First class organisation skills
* Decisiveness
* Able to communicate clearly both written and orally
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* You will be a strong team player who is keen and willing to learn the requisite skills to be successful in the role
